Land Surveyor

About the role

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its Dubai team and support the supervision and execution of major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographical and construction surveys for roads, highways, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Perform setting‑out for drainage, earthworks and other civil works.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks and coordinates.
• Verify lines, levels, alignments and elevations against approved drawings.
• Carry out as‑built and quantity surveys and keep accurate records.
• Check contractor survey work and submitted data for compliance.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Site Engineers and Contractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Strong experience with road, highway, utility, drainage and earthwork projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, RTA and other local authority requirements is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station, GPS/GNSS and Auto Level equipment.
• Advanced use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D for survey drafting.
• Knowledge of setting‑out, coordinate systems, level control and as‑built documentation.
