Landscape Architect

About the role

AECOM is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join its Urbanism + Planning studio in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves creating compelling landscape designs and overseeing their implementation from concept through construction, contributing to Abu Dhabi’s evolving urban environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, considering climate, soil, water management and local environmental factors.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation that clearly communicate design intent.
• Manage the design development process from initial concept to final construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other design professionals to integrate landscape solutions.
• Incorporate sustainable design practices such as water conservation, native plantings and climate‑responsive strategies.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Landscape Architect with experience in residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors.
• Strong understanding of site analysis, sustainability and local environmental conditions.
