Laser Technician - RN

About the role

The Laser Technician - RN will provide specialist nursing care and operate laser equipment for hair removal, skin resurfacing and related procedures. The role combines clinical assessment, patient education and support with technical operation of laser machines in a safe, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs, including systematic assessments and care plan development.
• Operate laser machines for hair removal, laser tattoo removal, skin resurfacing and vascular lesion treatment under dermatologist supervision.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure skin care, wound assessment and collaborate with medical practitioners as needed.
• Support audit, data collection and KPI benchmarking for the specialist field.
• Assist in invasive and non‑invasive medical procedures and ensure safe patient admission, transfer and discharge.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licence with the relevant health authority (UAE/NMC).
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Post‑graduate specialist qualification (diploma, degree or master) in a relevant field.
• Experience in specialist nursing, preferably within laser or dermatology settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Operation of laser machines for hair removal, tattoo removal, skin resurfacing and vascular lesion treatment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
• Clinical assessment, diagnosis and care plan development.
• Patient education on skin health, sun protection and post‑procedure care.
