Laundry Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

Are you detail‑oriented and passionate about maintaining high standards? We are looking for a reliable and motivated Laundry Attendant to join our opening team and support the smooth operation of our Housekeeping department.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and correctly, following manufacturer and hotel guidelines.
• Handle all linen and garments carefully to maintain quality and extend their lifespan.
• Use and store laundry chemicals and supplies correctly.
• Report equipment faults, maintenance issues and damaged items promptly.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene and chemical‑handling procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping team to meet linen and uniform requirements efficiently.
• Support the department with other duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations, equipment and garment care is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Pre‑opening hotel experience is an advantage but not essential.
