Laundry Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at InterContinental Hotel Dubai Festival City. You will be responsible for handling hotel and guest linen, ensuring it is cleaned, pressed and ready for use while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload hotel and guest linen for washing.
• Operate laundry machines, monitoring temperature, pressure and water levels appropriate to each textile.
• Transfer linen between machines and ensure timely pressing of items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, keeping equipment free of lint and in good order.
• Receive, count, store and issue F&B and room linen according to procedures.
• Assist with inventory checks, report damages or loss, and help with linen repairs.
• Keep accurate records of linen usage, discards and new stock.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene policies and report any hazards.
