Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant joins the Guest Environment team at Le Méridien Dubai, ensuring that all linen, towels and guest garments are cleaned, pressed and delivered to the highest standards. This full‑time position supports the overall housekeeping operation and contributes to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and process used linen, towels and guest clothing from hotel departments.
• Operate washing, drying, ironing and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Deliver clean items to guest rooms and public areas in a timely manner.
• Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation.
• Understanding of safety and hygiene procedures in a hotel environment.
