Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures efficient, high-quality processing of all hotel linen, uniforms, guest laundry and other fabrics at a 5-star luxury property. You will work closely with the Laundry Supervisor to maintain the standards expected by Accor’s premium guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, count and classify linen, uniforms and guest laundry according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, presses and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains, damage and quality before and after washing, applying appropriate treatment techniques.
• Fold, press, package and distribute clean linen and uniforms to the relevant departments.
• Maintain separation of clean and soiled items, keep the laundry area tidy and report any damaged or missing items.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in hotel or commercial laundry preferred.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift laundry bags.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironing machines, presses).
• Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal and proper pressing techniques.
