Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures that all guest and hotel laundry is processed quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of cleanliness. Working within Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, you will support the hospitality team by handling linen, garments, and other items while adhering to safety and quality procedures. This role contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest and hotel laundry in line with SOPs, ensuring items are clean, undamaged, and ready for use.
• Operate commercial laundry machines safely, respecting weight limits and operating instructions.
• Separate linen and garments by type, colour, and required treatment (wash, dry‑clean, press).
• Collect laundry from guest rooms promptly and deliver cleaned items while respecting ‘Do Not Disturb’ requests.
• Handle chemicals responsibly, following safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Provide billing details to the cashiering department and assist colleagues with additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel laundry operations.
• Knowledge of fabric types, detergents, and stain‑removal methods.
• Strong attention to detail for identifying stains, damages, or missing items.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and manage heavy loads.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and chemical‑handling procedures.
