Laundry Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the hospitality team at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah as a Laundry Attendant. You will be responsible for handling, cleaning, pressing, folding and distributing hotel linens, uniforms and guest laundry to meet luxury‑hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, collect, wash, dry, press, fold and distribute linens, towels, uniforms and other laundry items following established procedures.
• Handle guest laundry and dry‑cleaning items with proper identification, processing and timely delivery.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or missing components and report issues to the supervisor.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, steam irons, pressing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure and use laundry chemicals, detergents and cleaning products correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, equipment and workstations.
• Keep accurate records of laundry received, processed, damaged or returned.
• Support housekeeping and other departments with laundry‑related requests.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Laundry Attendant, Laundry Assistant or similar role in a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care and stain removal.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads.
• Professional, presentable appearance aligned with hotel standards.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
