Laundry Attendant – Valet

About the role

The Laundry Attendant – Valet is responsible for collecting, checking, recording, and delivering guest laundry and dry‑cleaning items in line with hotel standards, ensuring garments are handled with care and returned promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry and dry‑cleaning items from rooms as requested.
• Inspect garments for stains, damage, and discrepancies before processing.
• Verify laundry lists and accurately record all items.
• Deliver clean and pressed garments to guest rooms promptly.
• Coordinate with the Laundry Department to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry valet area.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel laundry department or similar role is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle guest garments with care and professionalism.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
