Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor will lead the resort’s laundry and uniform team, ensuring a consistent supply of clean, high‑quality linens and garments for guests and staff. This role combines operational oversight, staff management, and financial control within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily laundry and uniform operations, maintaining health and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule, counsel, and evaluate laundry personnel.
• Ensure laundry equipment is well‑maintained and operating efficiently.
• Manage departmental budgeting, purchasing, payroll, forecasting and inventory control.
• Supervise outsourced laundry services to meet quality standards.
• Handle guest concerns related to laundry services and follow up promptly.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings and promote teamwork across departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising laundry or housekeeping teams in a hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, purchasing and inventory.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental procedures for laundry operations.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of commercial laundry equipment.
• Budget management and financial reporting.
• Inventory control and purchasing processes.
• Safe handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
