Laundry Valet

About the role

The Laundry Valet ensures efficient collection, processing and delivery of guest laundry and hotel linen, maintaining high standards of service, hygiene and guest satisfaction in a busy 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry, dry‑cleaning and pressing items from rooms following hotel procedures.
• Deliver clean and pressed laundry to the correct guest room within the required turnaround time.
• Verify quantity and condition of items, report stains, damages or missing items to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Tag, sort and transfer laundry to the appropriate section, handling express and same‑day services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection and delivery areas, keeping equipment in good condition.
• Interact courteously with guests, answering questions and escalating complaints promptly.
• Handle chemicals, laundry bags and equipment safely, using PPE as required.
• Support inventory control of laundry bags, tags and packaging materials.
• Assist during high occupancy, VIP arrivals and special events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel laundry, housekeeping or valet service preferred.
• Experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel is an advantage.
• Good customer service, communication and attention to detail.
• Physically fit, able to stand, walk and transport laundry bags for extended periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
