Lead AML Product Specialist – AI & Automation

About the role

The Lead AML Product Specialist, AI & Automation will drive improvements to AML workflows, systems and processes across Bybit’s AML function. Working closely with AML Operations, Investigations, Transaction Monitoring, KYC/KYB, Compliance, Data and Engineering teams, you will embed AI and automation to boost productivity, quality and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize product and process improvement initiatives across AML operations.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities to simplify, automate or improve how work is performed.
• Drive end‑to‑end improvements across transaction monitoring, investigations, KYC/EDD, STR/SAR preparation, sanctions screening and case management.
• Translate AML and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements for Engineering, Data and AI teams.
• Develop practical solutions that reduce repetitive manual work and improve the quality and consistency of AML reviews.
• Embed AI‑enabled tools into relevant AML workflows and ensure adoption in day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure appropriate controls, human review, escalation and auditability are built into new processes.
• Track outcomes such as analyst productivity, turnaround time, false‑positive reduction, investigation quality and control effectiveness.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in AML, financial crime, compliance technology, product management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AML operations, including transaction monitoring, investigations, KYC/KYB/EDD and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Experience improving or implementing AML systems, workflows or operational processes.
• Experience working with AI, automation or data‑driven solutions.
• Strong product management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to translate AML operational needs into practical technology solutions.
