Lead Applied Value Engineer - AI & Process Intelligence Consultant

About the role

Celonis, the platform that industrializes Enterprise AI, is looking for a Senior Applied Value Engineer to work remotely with its most strategic global accounts. You will diagnose their strategy and operational challenges, build tailored, domain-specific use cases, and architect and prototype AI solutions on the Celonis platform. You will demonstrate the business impact to C-suite executives and ensure successful implementation, adoption and value realization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main Celonis product and domain expert, translating customer requirements into enterprise architecture and leading technical discovery.
• Architect, prototype and build bespoke AI solutions, including secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools and guardrails, integrated with enterprise data, identity and compliance frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end Proof-of-Value (PoV) projects and act as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts until value, adoption thresholds and operational transformation are achieved.
• Build industry-specific end-to-end solutions, codify them into reusable methodology and mentor junior peers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of executive-facing presales and value engineering, owning the technical close and driving AI transformation narratives.
• Proven background in accountable PoV execution, ROI/TCO modeling and delivering projects to realized value.
• Deep knowledge of operational workflows and industries such as supply chain and finance, with the ability to speak to C-suite executives.
• Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required skills

• LLM orchestration, function calling, RAG, agents, prompt engineering and agentic patterns.
• Linear and nonlinear optimization, statistical analysis, reinforcement learning and predictive forecasting.
• Production ML/LLMOps on AWS Bedrock, Azure AI and GCP Vertex AI.
• Python, API design, reusable libraries, advanced SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Hugging Face.
• Secure cloud architecture, IAM, data governance and privacy compliance.
• Strong presentation skills and flawless English.
