Lead Auditor - ISMS/IT

About the role

Bureau Veritas is hiring a Lead Auditor for its Certification Department in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Operations Lead UAE and the Certification Manager. The role covers external audits under ISO standards, including the full certificate cycle, and works closely with certification managers, technical managers, sales and technical teams, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and complete audits for ISMS, ITSMS, cyber security, QHSE and BCMS, including opening and closing audits and submitting reports to the technical centre for approval
• Manage client relationships during audits, set expectations, handle NCRs and keep clients informed
• Ensure impartiality with no conflict of interest and follow accreditation and HSE requirements
• Follow field and travel HSE requirements and complete regular technical and HSE training
• Work independently, manage time well and solve problems proactively

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience executing, planning and completing ISMS/QHSE/BCMS audits for marine, oil and gas clients
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Fluent English and Arabic (a strong advantage)
• Knowledge of management systems, ISO HLS, ISO 17021, IAF and accreditation requirements, and industry classifications

• Office 365 (Word, Excel) and planning/scheduling software
