Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a hybrid basis. In this senior, hands‑on position you will own the design, implementation and governance of a production‑grade Azure platform that supports enterprise AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure for AI and application workloads across DEV, TEST, UAT and PROD environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (or Bicep) and manage containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Own Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, Private Endpoints, DNS, routing, firewalls and integration with corporate networks.
• Configure identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Service Principals and Azure RBAC.
• Manage secrets, certificates and credentials via Azure Key Vault.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Apply DevSecOps controls, vulnerability scanning and security automation.
• Define release, rollback, backup, disaster‑recovery and production‑support procedures.
• Provide technical leadership, standards and mentorship for the DevOps team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, building and supporting enterprise‑scale Azure platforms.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work directly with enterprise clients and security teams.
