Lead Cost Manager (Cost Control)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead Cost Manager (Cost Control) to join its Abu Dhabi team. In this senior position you will oversee cost estimation, control and financial management for large‑scale construction projects, develop cost strategies and ensure budget efficiency across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed cost estimates from feasibility through tendering, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and client requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive estimate, cost, procurement and tender reports for clients and senior management.
• Present cost performance and commercial strategies to clients, consultants and project stakeholders with clarity and authority.
• Monitor project budgets, conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain cost targets.
• Lead, mentor and develop a cost management team, fostering a culture of accuracy and professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in cost management within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven leadership experience with the capacity to guide and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
