Lead Data Scientist

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is recruiting a Lead Data Scientist for a global IT Services and Consulting leader. The role drives AI strategy, builds enterprise‑scale LLM platforms and ensures responsible AI deployment across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute AI roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.
• Architect LLM‑based ecosystems, including RAG pipelines, model orchestration and fine‑tuning strategies.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, and Google Vertex AI into production stacks.
• Establish governance, compliance and security standards for LLM deployments.
• Oversee model observability, evaluation frameworks for hallucination rate, factual accuracy and toxicity control.
• Lead multidisciplinary AI teams and communicate progress to executive and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure scalability, resilience and robust data governance.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering or Applied Mathematics.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in AI/ML strategy, leadership and delivery.
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise‑level AI/LLM platforms.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
