Lead Design Engineer – Materials & Corrosion

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Lead Design Engineer specializing in Materials and Corrosion to join its UAE office. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts for a major brownfield oil & gas project, overseeing design, QA/QC, procurement, and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate overall engineering execution in collaboration with other discipline leads.
• Take responsibility for timely completion of engineering works within the Materials & Corrosion scope.
• Manage and guide internal discipline teams and oversee external designers and consultants.
• Interact with client representatives (ADNOC) and review engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• BE or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience on oil & gas EPC projects.
• Strong technical background in basic and detailed engineering design from feasibility to commissioning.
• Experience working in an international environment and using commercial engineering software.
• Excellent written and spoken English, leadership, problem‑solving, and safety focus.
