Lead Engineering Associate II (UAE National)

About the role

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Engineering Associate II, exclusively for UAE nationals, to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role supports the full project lifecycle—from study phase through design, implementation, documentation, delivery, and maintenance of Advanced Process Control (APC), Workflow Control (WFC) and Batch Management Automation (BMA) solutions across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions on asset performance, digital integration, and data‑driven models.
• Apply scientific, mathematical and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.
• Design, propose, implement, review and adjust plans to meet company goals.
• Compile and analyze data using computer tools; travel to sites to understand project needs.
• Assist in budgeting, timeline creation, and development of user‑requirement, functional and detailed technical specifications.
• Support change‑management activities, including business‑process diagrams, training material and sessions.

Required profile

• UAE national with a background in chemical engineering.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and effective communication with stakeholders.
