Lead Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to oversee and optimise our on‑premises and cloud environments in Dubai. The role combines deep L2/L3 support expertise with strategic responsibility for modernising infrastructure, driving cloud migrations and ensuring security, performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Group Policy across the enterprise.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Defender, Purview) including licensing, security and compliance.
• Design, implement and support cloud workloads on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, virtualisation, storage and backup solutions.
• Implement identity and access management controls, including Entra ID, Entra Connect, SSO, MFA and Conditional Access.
• Monitor performance, capacity and health of all systems; apply security patches and lifecycle updates.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, database and network teams to maintain service availability.
• Provide advanced L2/L3 incident resolution and service request fulfilment.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• Strong background in Microsoft technologies and Windows Server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and OCI cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure modernisation and migration projects.
• Solid understanding of IT governance, security and compliance standards.
