Lead Piping Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Piping Design Engineer to head all piping engineering activities for an offshore project at the Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC). You will ensure safe, compliant, and constructible designs for instrument air, plant air, utilities, and compressor package integration, fully aligned with ADNOC offshore standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for all piping and layout engineering across IA/PA upgrade works.
• Coordinate with engineering subcontractors, process, mechanical, electrical & I&C disciplines, OEMs, vendors, and ADNOC offshore operations throughout FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning.
• Review vendor GA drawings, nozzle orientations, connection sizes, elevations, and ensure correct material grades, pressure classes, and flange mating.
• Lead integration of 3D models for OEM skids, pipe supports, and utility tie‑ins.
• Provide guidance and approvals for the full EPC piping scope, including class requirements for offshore structures.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of piping engineering experience, preferably in offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC piping standards, ASME B31.3, and offshore specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and vendor coordination.
