Lead Product Services Engineer - Gas Turbine Accessories Systems

About the role

The Lead Product Services Engineer for Gas Turbine Accessories Systems provides direct technical support to global GE Vernova Gas Power customers across three primary workstreams. The role covers gas turbine accessories such as inlet, exhaust, fuel, oil, water injection, cooling water, enclosures, piping and flex hoses, valves and actuators, purge air systems and instrumentation at power plants.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical resolution of issues involving gas turbine accessories, with a sense of urgency.
• Identify trending issues, propose countermeasures to protect the customer fleet and communicate them to the relevant audiences (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo alerts).
• Drive complex root cause analyses through root cause and corrective action, communicating internally with field teams and GEV leadership and externally to end customers.
• Work with design engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, vendors, quality and field services to deliver timely technical resolutions.
• Represent the organization in user conferences, customer clarification meetings and other industry communications.
• Act with humility, lead with transparency and deliver with focus, embrace LEAN principles and use AI and digital platforms to streamline work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 7 years of direct commissioning, maintenance or engineering experience with GE Vernova gas turbine and mechanical accessories/auxiliaries systems.
• Strong oral and written English; Arabic is desired.
• 10-15% of the time spent within and outside the region.

Required skills

• Proven experience with GE Vernova F/HA gas turbines (desired).
• Strong working knowledge of GE Vernova heavy-duty gas turbine operational philosophy (desired).
• Ability to navigate GE Vernova resource databases and organizations to solve problems under pressure.
• Communication at all levels, from field engineers to leadership, and ability to switch between multiple concurrent projects.
