Lead Project Manager

About the role

Wasael Property Management is seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive the end‑to‑end delivery of major projects across Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver assigned projects from initiation through handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, programmes, budgets, milestones and resources.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams covering design, technical, commercial, procurement, construction, HSE and other functions.
• Manage consultants, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring performance against agreed requirements.
• Track progress against key milestones and KPIs, implementing recovery or mitigation actions as needed.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.
• Oversee project financials, forecasts, variations and overall performance in partnership with the Commercial team.
• Chair progress, coordination and stakeholder meetings, ensuring decisions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, HSE and quality standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior Project Managers and team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale construction or property development projects.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
