Lead QA/QC Engineer

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Lead QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control across major oil & gas and petrochemical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing QA/QC resources, ensuring contractual compliance, and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the project QA/QC organization, ensuring appropriate staffing and expertise for each project phase.
• Develop and enforce QA/QC requirements, KPIs, and audit plans for subcontractors, vendors and service providers.
• Conduct internal quality audits, identify non‑conformances, and lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project management, third‑party inspectors and ADNOC to align quality standards and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years in a senior QA/QC leadership role, preferably in the GCC.
• Proven experience on FEED and EPC phases, with exposure to ADNOC and offshore projects.
