Lead Quality Assurance Auditor

About the role

The Lead Quality Assurance Auditor will head performance‑based audits and assessments for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) Quality Assurance Program, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards in nuclear construction and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct QA audits of ENEC, Nawah programs, suppliers, contractors and long‑term agreements, identifying non‑compliance and shortfalls.
• Develop audit plans, checklists and agendas, collect required documentation and ensure audits are performed effectively.
• Review audit records, confirm final audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Analyse audit findings, drive corrective and preventive actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Review contractor and supplier QA manuals, provide feedback and assess compliance with ENEC/Nawah QA programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in quality‑related roles and 2 years as a nuclear QA auditor.
• Eligibility to act as a Lead Auditor per QA‑PRC‑0004 and relevant certifications (ASQ Quality Auditor, NQA‑1 Lead Auditor, etc.).
• Proven experience in designing, developing and implementing quality management systems and leading nuclear audits.
