Lead, Transformation Testing (SAP)

About the role

Chalhoub Group is looking for a Lead, Transformation Testing to drive the testing strategy and automation for an SAP transformation programme. The role works in collaboration with the System Integrator and covers test planning, automation, team leadership, performance and load testing, issue management and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the overall testing strategy and design an automated testing framework tailored to the SAP system.
• Create test plans covering unit, integration, system and UAT testing, and manage resources, timelines and budgets.
• Oversee test case and automated script development, keeping them up to date with system changes.
• Train and mentor the testing team, and liaise with functional tech leads, business leads and stakeholders.
• Manage test execution, coordinate with other project leads, track defects and work with developers on resolutions.
• Run performance and load tests using the automation framework and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Report progress, results and quality metrics to stakeholders and oversee post-implementation testing.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP technology implementation and management.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or similar role in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Experience managing large hybrid teams of internal and external resources and managing external vendors to budget and scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field; PMP, ITIL or SAP certifications are a plus.

• Strong understanding of business processes supported by SAP systems.
• Mandatory experience with SAP and enterprise systems in design, deployment, testing and support.
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
