Learning and Development Specialist

About the role

AirQo is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design and deliver training programs that support employee performance and align with business priorities. The role involves partnering with managers to identify skill gaps, coordinating learning initiatives, and maintaining accurate training records.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department managers to identify current and future learning needs, role requirements, and skills gaps.
• Develop and maintain a structured learning and development plan aligned with company priorities.
• Coordinate internal and external training, workshops, technical learning, professional development, and certification programs.
• Support onboarding by coordinating induction and role‑specific learning for new employees.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance, employee competencies, and certifications.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, completion data, and observed skill improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Learning and Development or training coordination.
• Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential employee information.
