Learning & Development Specialist – Customer Facing

About the role

The Customer‑Facing Learning & Development Specialist will design, deliver and continuously improve coffee‑expertise training programmes for Nespresso UAE, while acting as a local coffee ambassador both inside the company and at external events.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the Coffee Expertise Training Programme in partnership with HR.
• Design and execute the annual L&D strategy focused on building coffee capability.
• Deliver workshops, training sessions and train‑the‑trainer programmes.
• Monitor training effectiveness, track KPIs such as completion rates, certification levels and impact.
• Foster a strong coffee culture and develop the internal Coffee Bard network.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of all coffee‑related training materials and adapt global content for the UAE market.
• Represent Nespresso as a coffee‑expertise ambassador at workshops, events and selected external engagements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Learning & Development, training or capability building.
• Proven ability to deliver training programmes and coach individuals or teams.
• Background in coffee, hospitality, retail or premium customer experience is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence and engage without direct authority.
