Learning & Development Specialist – Retail (UAE)

About the role

The Learning & Development Specialist will design, coordinate and deliver training solutions for retail stores across the region, ensuring alignment with the Learning Service Level Agreement (SLA) and business priorities. This role partners with store managers, HR business partners and subject‑matter experts to create impactful learning experiences that support employee growth and brand competency.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and training needs into annual and monthly learning plans that meet SLA commitments.
• Plan, communicate and deploy learning activities on monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of classroom, virtual, blended and self‑learning solutions.
• Maintain a pool of facilitators and learning buddies, ensuring readiness and availability.
• Drive learning engagement through campaigns, communication and social learning initiatives.
• Monitor delivery, completion and certification metrics via reporting platforms and dashboards.
• Provide accurate, timely reporting and ensure compliance with SLA standards.

Required profile

• Strong collaboration skills with store management, HR partners and learning experts.
• Ability to manage multiple learning projects and meet strict timelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment capabilities.
• Experience in retail or similar fast‑paced environments is preferred.
