Learning Specialist II

About the role

Mediclinic is looking for a Learning Specialist II to support and guide employee competence development by facilitating and evaluating a range of learning and development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess learning and development needs of employees.
• Design and develop interventions that address identified needs.
• Deliver training activities in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions.
• Document and report learning outcomes, progress and impact.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma (certification in L&D is a plus).
• Minimum 3‑4 years of experience facilitating learning and development activities in a formal setting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Moodle.
• Knowledge of the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model for measuring learning effectiveness.
• Strong grasp of instructional design principles.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
