Legal & Compliance AI & Data Expert

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Regulatory Quant & Intelligence Specialist to build Bybit’s AI‑native legal and compliance intelligence capability. The role blends regulatory expertise, quantitative analysis and AI‑enabled workflow design to automate and document regulatory decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Translate legislation, regulatory guidance and internal policies into structured decision frameworks, rule sets and scoring models for compliance tooling.
• Design and prototype AI‑powered workflows for regulatory research, licensing analysis, policy drafting, onboarding/KYC, surveillance and incident management.
• Build and maintain quantitative models to assess regulatory risk, scenario outcomes and potential enforcement impact.
• Conduct structured regulatory research across key jurisdictions and convert developments into machine‑readable rules and internal playbooks.
• Draft documentation for decision frameworks, model assumptions and human‑in‑the‑loop controls, and partner with Legal, Product and Engineering to embed requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, financial services law or related roles within crypto/fintech.
• Strong understanding of financial services and VASP regulation, licensing frameworks and cross‑border regimes (e.g., MAS, FCA, MiCAR, ADGM).
• Quantitative mindset with ability to formalise complex regulatory reasoning into decision models.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge Legal, Compliance, Engineering and Product teams.
