Legal Intern – Contract Review & Research (Dubai)

About the role

GCC Solutions and its legal arm GCC Law are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to join the legal and corporate services team in Dubai. The internship offers hands‑on exposure to contract review, legal research and corporate documentation across the UAE and the wider GCC, reporting directly to lawyers and paralegals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the review and proofreading of contracts and legal documents, identifying errors, ambiguities and inconsistencies.
• Assist in drafting and summarising contracts, legal correspondence and corporate documents for internal and client use.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on licensing and compliance matters in the UAE and KSA using official government sources.
• Help prepare corporate constitutional documents such as Memoranda and Articles of Association.
• Facilitate document attestation processes and related administrative filings.
• Track jurisdiction‑specific requirements, including mainland vs free‑zone rules and Saudisation obligations.
• Summarise lengthy documents into clear notes for lawyers and clients.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling client information.
• Perform ad‑hoc legal and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); final‑year students welcome.
• Solid understanding of civil versus common law systems and contract validity concepts.
• Familiarity with the UAE and KSA business environment, including free‑zone and mainland structures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes and SOPs.
• Based in the UAE and able to work from the Dubai office.

Required skills

• Legal research using official government and regulatory sources.
• Contract drafting and proofreading.
• Knowledge of corporate constitutional documents (Memoranda, Articles of Association).
• Understanding of UAE and KSA business law and compliance requirements.
