Legal Manager - Emirati Talent

About the role

A Legal Manager position in Dubai, focused on Emirati talent, provides legal advice and support to protect the organisation's interests, ensure regulatory compliance and manage legal and corporate documentation. The role covers contracts, employment matters, governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on legal matters relating to business operations, initiatives and local and international partnerships.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, MOUs, sponsorship, partnership, donation and grant agreements.
• Manage legal and corporate records, including licences, registrations, resolutions, powers of attorney and contracts.
• Advise on employment matters such as contracts, employee relations, disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Conduct legal due diligence, identify contractual risks and recommend safeguards.
• Manage legal notices, claims and disputes, coordinating with external counsel where necessary.
• Review organisational policies, procedures and governance frameworks for legal compliance.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on their operational implications.
• Track contractual obligations, renewals and document validity.
• Develop standard legal templates and guide internal teams.
• Support audits, regulatory enquiries and official legal documentation requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law; a Master's preferred.
• Strong relevant legal experience covering contracts, governance, employment matters and corporate documentation.
• Strong knowledge of the local legal and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and practical experience with Federal Government Human Resources legislation and Dubai Government Human Resources legislation, including implementing regulations and amendments.

Required skills

• Strong legal drafting, negotiation and communication skills in Arabic and English.
