Lending & Insurance Lead

About the role

Join du Pay to shape the future of digital financial services as the Lending & Insurance Lead. You will define and execute the strategy for lending and embedded insurance, creating innovative propositions for millions of customers across the UAE and GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Define a multi‑year product vision, roadmap and build‑buy‑partner models for lending and embedded insurance.
• Identify high‑value opportunities across consumer, SME, merchant and digital segments, embedding financial solutions into customer journeys.
• Own and evolve a diverse lending portfolio including micro‑lending, personal loans, salary‑linked, BNPL, SME lending and device financing.
• Design product propositions, eligibility frameworks, pricing, repayment mechanisms and acquisition strategies.
• Develop and scale embedded insurance products for remittances, payments, lending, savings, investments and more.
• Build data‑driven lending capabilities using transaction behavior, alternative data, credit scoring and predictive models.
• Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, testing and performance management.
• Partner with engineering, risk, compliance, data, UX, operations and external providers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage strategic relationships with banks, insurers, fintechs, credit bureaus and technology partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, consumer protection, responsible lending and data privacy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Engineering or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CFA, FRM) advantageous.
• Proven experience in digital lending, fintech, embedded finance, insurtech and API‑driven financial products.
• Strong understanding of the UAE/GCC financial services landscape, lending, insurance and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated product leadership, commercial acumen and ability to build strategic partnerships.
