Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Line Maintenance

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a GCAA CAR V‑approved maintenance facility, is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to perform line maintenance on its Airbus and Boeing fleet as well as third‑party aircraft. The role involves routine servicing, defect rectification, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and regulatory procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in line with manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Maintain assigned aircraft zones according to the latest Technical Publications, Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering Procedures Manual.
• Handle off‑aircraft activities such as spares handling, robberies, and hold items, ensuring complete paperwork and transparency.
• Verify that tooling and equipment are serviceable and appropriate, using specialized tooling when required.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures and component changes efficiently, following AMM, IPC or other vendor documentation.
• Report deficiencies and safety issues using the company’s reporting tools and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain clean work areas and uphold high housekeeping standards.
• Communicate effectively with managers, senior engineers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid aircraft engineering licence and approvals applicable to the aircraft types serviced.
• Experience in line maintenance of commercial aircraft (Airbus/Boeing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work safely in a high‑tempo, on‑site environment.
