Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Line Maintenance Support

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to provide line‑maintenance support for its Airbus and Boeing fleet based at Dubai International Airport. The role involves performing routine maintenance, defect rectification and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in line with manufacturer manuals and safety procedures.
• Maintain aircraft documentation, technical notices, quality notices and engineering procedures to the latest revisions.
• Handle off‑aircraft activities such as spare‑parts management, hold items and equipment control, ensuring complete paperwork.
• Verify that tooling and equipment are serviceable and appropriate for each task, using specialised tools when required.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault rectification and component changes according to AMM, IPC or vendor documentation.
• Report safety, quality or operational deficiencies using the company’s reporting tools.
• Maintain clean work areas and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, senior engineers and other colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid licence/approval for the aircraft types to be maintained.
• Experience in line‑maintenance environments on Airbus or Boeing aircraft.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, operationally demanding setting.

• Aircraft maintenance and line‑maintenance procedures.
• Use of Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC).
• Troubleshooting and fault‑rectification techniques.
