Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Maintenance & Certification

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. You will work on one of the world’s most advanced fleets, ensuring maintenance activities are performed to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify maintenance tasks in accordance with Etihad’s authorization policy and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and guide Aircraft Technicians, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
• Prepare all necessary materials, parts, tools, and documentation at the start of each shift.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
• Conduct inspections of ground support equipment and company vehicles, completing required checklists.
• Document all work accurately and submit reports on time.

Required profile

• High school diploma, university degree or equivalent.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA, EASA Part‑66 or ICAO convertible to GCAA).
• 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years of certifying experience in a line or base maintenance environment.
• 2–3 years of certifying experience on at least two Etihad type ratings (Airbus A320/A330 NEO/A350/A380, Boeing 777/787) with company authorization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
