Life Of Field Engineering Manager

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Life Of Field Engineering Manager to lead the LOF engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering engineering excellence for drilling & completions, modification, maintenance & repair, and instrumentation/automation projects supporting offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multi‑discipline LOF engineering team, aligning resources with project and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with TechnipFMC engineering standards, design and manufacturing procedures, and quality targets.
• Define staffing levels and skill requirements, oversee training and development of the team.
• Validate scope and resources during engineering organization definition for projects.
• Maintain technical integrity of regional LOF engineering through liaison with support centers and service providers.
• Develop and administer schedules, performance metrics, and may hold budget/revenue responsibilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in the oil & gas sector, preferably in drilling, completions, or offshore operations.
• Strong understanding of D&C, MMR and instrumentation/automation engineering practices.
• Ability to adjust quantitative and qualitative engineering resources to meet project demands.
• Experience ensuring adherence to engineering standards and delivering customer‑focused outcomes.
