Lifeguard at Yas Waterworld

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking Lifeguards to ensure guest safety at Yas Waterworld on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The role is guest‑facing and involves monitoring water areas, responding to emergencies, and supporting ride operations. Lifeguards must maintain certified swimming and rescue competencies at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Ride all rides, slides and attractions as required for operational purposes.
• Ensure guest, colleague and contractor safety at all times.
• Work at heights, in water and in extreme temperatures, outdoors year‑round.
• Follow manufacturer and department guidelines and standard operating procedures for ride dispatch and guest safety.
• Maintain rescue skill and basic life support competency at test‑ready levels.
• Move furniture, ride vehicles and equipment in and out of the park.

Required profile

• 20/25 vision, corrected or uncorrected.
• Swim a minimum of 50 meters non‑stop using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Swim underwater at a depth of 1.4 m for 3 m and retrieve a 10‑lb brick.
• Maintain test‑ready lifeguard skills in accordance with the International Lifeguard Training Program.
• Basic spoken English proficiency.

Required skills

• International Lifeguard Training Program certification or equivalent.
• UAE Driver’s License or Buggy License.
• Basic spoken Arabic proficiency (optional but preferred).
