About the role

Join Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas as a Lifeguard responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in beach and pool environments across our Abu Dhabi resort. You will monitor water activities, maintain safety equipment, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safety equipment such as flotation devices, rescue surfboards, boats, and first‑aid kits.
• Display correct safety flags, post business hours, depth, temperature, and wind information.
• Keep designated swimming areas free of engine‑driven boats, windsurfers, and sea‑bikes.
• Supervise guest use of windsurfing equipment and sea‑bikes, logging entries and exits.
• Respond to any emergency in pool or beach areas, ensuring rescue boats are ready at all times.
• Enforce security and safety regulations for all water‑sports activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 months related experience in lifeguarding or water‑safety roles.
• Strong swimming proficiency and comfort in varied water conditions.
• Ability to assess water conditions and potential hazards.

Required skills

• AR and CPR certification.
• Lifeguard certification.
• Swimming proficiency.
• Emergency medical services knowledge.
