Lifting Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and ADNOC‑approved Lifting Supervisor to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The candidate will oversee and manage all lifting operations on‑site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee lifting operations on‑site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement control measures, and ensure full health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Monitor condition and maintenance of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists and slings, ensuring proper inspection and servicing.
• Lead and supervise riggers, crane operators and other lifting personnel, providing training on procedures and safety protocols.
• Develop, review and obtain approval for detailed lift plans, including load calculations and rigging configurations.
• Coordinate lifting activities with other construction works to minimise disruptions and ensure timely project delivery.
• Document incidents or near‑misses, investigate causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain all required lifting documentation, permits and licenses in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Civil engineering or equivalent diploma.
• ADNOC‑approved Lifting Supervisor certification (advantageous).
• Minimum 5 + years experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience working inside ADNOC facilities with PTW system exposure.
