Lifting Supervisor (LEEA Appointed Person)

About the role

The Lifting Supervisor (LEEA Appointed Person) will lead the planning, coordination and safe execution of all lifting operations on construction sites in Dubai. Reporting to project management, the role ensures compliance with UAE safety regulations, approved procedures and client requirements while minimizing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and approve lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements for every lifting activity.
• Interpret crane load charts and perform accurate load calculations to confirm safe lifting capacities.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers and site teams, delivering pre‑lift briefings and ensuring clear communication.
• Monitor lifting operations on‑site, intervene when unsafe practices are observed, and maintain detailed records of activities and inspections.
• Verify that all lifting equipment, accessories and gear are certified, inspected and fit for use before each operation.

Required profile

• Valid LEEA Appointed Person certification.
• Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in lifting operations on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international lifting standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting activities simultaneously.
