Light Vehicle Driver

About the role

The Light Vehicle Driver will operate light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t across Al‑Futtaim Logistics locations in the UAE. You will be responsible for safe, on‑time delivery of goods while maintaining a damage‑free record and supporting the overall logistics operation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t to perform tasks such as port clearance, picking, binning and scanning at all AFL sites.
• Maintain a 100 % damage‑free record and promptly report any accidents or incidents.
• Accurately complete vehicle log books and update bin locations using the RDT device.
• Perform washing, cleaning, fueling of new units and record fuel dates via the SMART Fill System.
• Wear required uniform or PPE and interact professionally with internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Matriculation passed, aged 25 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving class 3 vehicles with a category 3 licence.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork, time‑management and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in driving and handling light vehicles up to 3.0 t.
• Ability to maintain accurate logs and follow company quality SOPs.
