Light Vehicle Driver – Logistics

About the role

As a Light Vehicle Driver at Al-Futtaim Logistics, you will operate light vehicles and trucks to transport goods across various AFL locations throughout the UAE. You are expected to maintain a damage‑free record, follow company quality standards, and complete tasks efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t at all AFL locations, handling tasks such as port clearance, picking, binning and scanning.
• Maintain a 100 % damage‑free record and promptly report any accidents or incidents involving company property.
• Accurately keep vehicle log books in line with company requirements.
• Follow the company Quality SOP for vehicle handling and implement new QC initiatives.
• Wear required uniform or PPE and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Scan and update bin locations of all units using the RDT device.
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from senior management and line managers.
• Wash, clean, fuel new units and update fuel dates via the SMART Fill System.

Required profile

• Matriculation passed and aged 25 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving class 3 vehicles with a category 3 licence.
• Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong teamwork and time‑management abilities.
