Linux L3 Administrator – Dubai

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Linux L3 Administrator to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for managing high‑availability Linux infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end Linux administration on RHEL, OEL and AIX platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues and operational bottlenecks.
• Provide L3 troubleshooting and remediation for complex system incidents.
• Administer high‑availability clusters and GFS2 storage.
• Manage IaaS Linux instances on multiple cloud platforms and handle patch management for both cloud and on‑prem servers.
• Maintain YUM repositories and RedHat Satellite infrastructure.
• Implement security hardening, CIS compliance and system tuning.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux operations, migrations and virtualization.
• Knowledge of Linux HA clustering, GFS2, and IBM AIX.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting and network tools such as iptables.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
• RedHat certification (RHCSA/RHCE) preferred; cloud certifications (Azure, Oracle, IBM) advantageous.
