Live-Out Nurse / Nursing Assistant for Dialysis Patient

About the role

A caring, responsible and experienced nurse or nursing assistant is sought to provide care and support for an 80-year-old dialysis patient in Dubai. The patient is mobile and able to walk, talk and move independently, but needs assistance and supervision with daily activities and healthcare needs. This is a live-out position based in Emirates Hills, with 12-hour rotating shifts (one week day, one week night) and transportation provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care, assistance and supervision
• Support the patient with mobility and daily activities
• Monitor the patient's general condition and well-being
• Assist before and after dialysis sessions
• Accompany the patient to doctor appointments when required
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
• Follow the family's and healthcare provider's instructions

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in nursing, nursing assistant or a relevant healthcare qualification
• Previous experience in elderly care preferred
• Experience with dialysis patients is an advantage
• Caring, patient, responsible and trustworthy
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts
