About the role

A family in Sharjah’s Taawun neighbourhood is seeking a live‑in nanny to care for their children and help keep the household running smoothly. This long‑term position blends childcare with light housekeeping, offering a stable home environment for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑time care for children, including feeding, bathing, nap routines and safe engagement.
• Handle newborn care with gentle feeding schedules and soothing techniques.
• Maintain a clean and tidy home: sweeping, mopping, laundry, dishes and general upkeep.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children as needed.
• Support daily family routines such as school runs and bedtime.
• Communicate openly with parents about children’s progress and any concerns.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience caring for children, especially newborns.
• Patient, calm temperament and reliable, honest character.
• Original passport in hand (non‑negotiable).
• Willingness to live in the family home and be present as part of the household.

Required skills

• Prior live‑in experience in a family setting (preferred).
• Basic cooking skills for children’s meals.
• Ability to start soon and commit to a long‑term arrangement.
