LME Trader & Client Liaison – Dubai

About the role

Join a long‑standing LME trading desk in Dubai and work alongside experienced professionals. You will support clients and daily trading activity while developing expertise in LME metals, risk management and client execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely market commentary and daily updates on LME metals markets, highlighting price movements, drivers and client‑relevant developments.
• Support the desk with trade capture, order management, position monitoring and other day‑to‑day operational activities.
• Liaise with clients to assist with trade execution, account queries, market information requests and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports such as market summaries, pricing updates and trading activity analysis.
• Monitor news, exchange notices and macro‑economic developments affecting metals markets and keep the desk and clients informed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in financial markets, commodities and LME metals trading.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for market commentary and client interaction.
• Proactive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to build a long‑term career in commodity markets.
