Lobby Ambassador

About the role

The Lobby Ambassador is a front office role at a hotel in Dubai, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and offering personalised service from arrival to departure. Acting as a key touchpoint for guest interactions, the Ambassador promotes the IHG brand values and brand loyalty while coordinating guest transportation and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival and greet them at all times, using their name where possible
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
• Promote IHG One Rewards programmes and know seasonal packages, frequent flyer and IHG loyalty programmes
• Handle guest complaints, inquiries and requests, referring unresolved issues to the Supervisor or Duty Manager
• Manage airport pick-up and drop-off requests, attend scheduled flight landings and help guests with baggage clearance and transport
• Coordinate VIP arrivals and departures with managers and other departments, and liaise with the IHG Airport Representative office in T3
• Compile daily reports, check for new bookings and changes, and assist the Guest Relations and Reception Team with other duties

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of experience in a front desk or similar position, preferably in a 5-star property
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work independently and within a team
